Examples include metallic chips, dry grass, wet grass, dirt, and dust from deck scraping and crystalline silica from masonry. Always work in a well-ventilated area and wear approved safety equipment, such as dust masks specifically designed to filter out microscopic particles.
FCC Compliance Statement (Part 15 Class B):
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
2. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR SCRAPING ROBOTS
DANGER: KEEP HANDS AND FEET CLEAR
NEVER reach under the lawn mower deck while the robot is powered ON, initialized, or executing an active cycle.
DO NOT tilt, lift, or jack up the lawn mower during operation. The mower deck must remain in its natural state with all four wheels resting firmly on a level, solid surface (concrete or asphalt).
DO NOT use this robot on grass, unpaved surfaces, deep turf, mud, or uneven ground.
SPINDLE SPEED & DISC RATING: Machine operates at a maximum spindle speed of 7,500 RPM (3,600 RPM full load).
USE ONLY 2-inch R-Type quick-change scraping discs with a manufacturer-rated speed of 7,500 RPM or higher. Never operate with damaged or mismatched discs.
DECK HEAT: Do not touch deck surfaces immediately following cycle completion. Friction causes elevated deck surface temperatures.
AUTOMATIC SYSTEM SHUTDOWN: The HBSC-100 is equipped with tilt, lift, and jam sensing interlocks. If lifted, tilted, or jammed during cycle, the onboard computer system shuts down automatically to prevent motor overrun.
DANGER: INTENDED USE ONLY
NEVER use this robot for any purpose other than scraping rotary lawn mower decks while the decks and blades are fully attached to the lawn mower.
NEVER operate the robot unless it is in its natural state, parked with all four wheels resting firmly on a flat, level, and solid surface (concrete or asphalt). Operating on unpaved surfaces, turf, or with a tilted/hoisted mower introduces severe stability hazards.
NEVER operate or store the robot in rain, wet conditions, or standing water. Moisture entering the chassis, brushless motor, or battery terminal interface creates an electric shock hazard and will permanently damage internal robotic electronics.
NEVER manipulate or alternate the robot or any part at any time in any way. This will affect performance and results and void all warranties and guarantees.
USE ONLY on standard steel, hardened steel, or plastic rotary lawn mower decks. DO NOT use this robot on severely cracked/chipped, or bent decks.
DO NOT leave the robot completely unattended during an active scraping cycle. The operator must remain in the immediate vicinity to observe diagnostic LED signals and execute an emergency abort if an unexpected obstruction or fault occurs.
DANGER: IGNITION HAZARD
NEVER start or turn on the lawn mower engine—or engage its blades—while the robot is powered on or in operation.
ALWAYS ensure the lawn mower engine is completely shut off, the ignition key is removed, and the spark plug wire is disconnected before placing or activating the robot near the mower deck. Interfacing an active sharpening robot with a running lawn mower deck will result in catastrophic equipment destruction and severe personal injury or death.
